EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences, often without needing to revisit every detail of the memory. Using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or sounds) EMDR can reduce the emotional impact of past experiences and help clients feel less stuck, overwhelmed, or triggered in their daily lives.

This therapy aims to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore and express their cultural identities and experiences without fear of judgment or misunderstanding. Emphasizes the importance of understanding a person's cultural background, beliefs, values, and experiences, as well as the impact of systemic oppression and discrimination.
Receive support and learn coping skills in community. Participants share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with each other in a safe and supportive environment. Benefits from group therapy include increasing social support, learning from others, reduce isolation, cost-effective and offers a diversity of perspectives from participants.
